By using CLARIS ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CLARIS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

CLARIS is a subscription-based financial tools platform providing 3,560+ interactive spreadsheet tools across 15 categories including budgeting, investing, business finance, and more.

3. Subscription & Payment

• Access to CLARIS requires a paid subscription (£10/month or £100/year)
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time via Settings → Manage billing
• No refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use CLARIS
• One account per person — accounts are non-transferable
• You agree not to share your account credentials

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use CLARIS for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the service
• Share or resell access to CLARIS
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, designs, and software within CLARIS are owned by or licensed to CLARIS. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of CLARIS is governed by our Privacy Policy. You own the data you enter into CLARIS tools. We do not claim ownership of your personal financial data.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

CLARIS provides financial tools for informational and organisational purposes only. We are not financial advisors. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions. CLARIS is not liable for any financial decisions made based on use of the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in English courts.
